We are seeking a Staff Engineer / Architect, Enterprise AI Solutions to lead the evaluation, adoption, and implementation of AI tools and capabilities across the enterprise. This role will serve as a bridge between Information Technology and business teams, helping identify opportunities and deliver practical AI driven solutions that improve productivity and scalability.
The ideal candidate is an emerging technology enthusiast with strong software engineering foundations, who thrives in partnering with non-technical stakeholders to turn business needs into impactful AI solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate emerging AI platforms, frameworks, and enterprise solutions to recommend fit-for-purpose technologies.
- Develop selection criteria and proof-of-concepts to validate AI tools before enterprise wide rollout.
- Architect, design, develop, and integrate scalable AI-powered technology solutions with existing enterprise application platforms and workflows.
- Build reusable components and automation workflows while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance in deployed AI solutions.
- Partner with business stakeholders (Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, SCM, Commercial Operations, etc) to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
- Define and establish best practices for responsible AI usage within the enterprise, AI governance frameworks, architectural standards for integrations.
- Act as the subject matter expert for enterprise AI capabilities and drive adoption.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, or solutions architecture in delivering complex, large-scale commercial applications or platform services.
- Experience in implementing AI/ML technologies, AI agentic workflows, automation platforms and workflow orchestration tools across Enterprise Applications.
- Experience with AI/ML platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to engage with non-engineering stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- A deep curiosity and relentless hunger for learning about the latest research and applications of AI at the enterprise level.
- Experience in driving technology adoption across diverse teams
The base salary range for this position is $154,000 - $247,000. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
