In this role, you will
- Work on systems that collect, process, and analyze large datasets.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
- Contribute to the development of internal libraries and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in backend engineering and data analytics with modern libraries
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with cloud service providers (e.g. AWS)
- 0-2+ years of professional software engineering experience, including internships or significant project work.
Desirable Qualifications
- Proficiencies in Python/GoLang and SQL
- Familiarity with high performance computing
- Experience with building distributed systems
The base salary range for this position is $105,000.00-$157,000.00 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
