Job Title: Manager, Consulting Services

Location: Guadalajara

At Salesloft, our Manager, Consulting Services will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Consulting Services team whose goal is to provide world class consulting to our customers, including successful onboarding that will establish a solid foundation for their future success.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for

  • Establish the direction of daily team activities
  • Ensure efficient operations and create an overall productive and enjoyable working environment for employees
  • Assess customer project effectiveness and make improvements where/when necessary
  • Analyze team metrics and hold team members accountable to their targets
  • Provide delivery expertise, and act as a Project Delivery Sponsor on projects owned by the team of Consultants
  • Act as a mentor and overall leader to our team of Consultants

In addition to working with amazing colleagues who exemplify our ‘Put team over self’ core value, you will also have the opportunity to coach and develop a team of 6 consultants, build and enhance processes, and act as a point of escalation for customers. Salesloft’s Consulting Services team is comprised of both seasoned and up-and-coming consultants who are all aligned on one mission: to redefine the Sales Engagement space and activate the authentic seller in all of us. 

The Consulting Services team delivers expert solutions that empower customers to achieve revenue growth. They scale a high-performance culture while driving customers to adopt the Salesloft platform and delivering business outcomes.

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented, forward-looking team player who can help us grow and mature our Consulting Services organization while ensuring the highest quality onboarding experience for our customers.

THE SKILL SET:

  • 3-5 years experience as an implementation or onboarding consultant in the software space
  • Strong experience leading teams, and acting as a coach and mentor. Management experience preferred. 
  • Collaborative mentality, prioritizing ‘we’ and not focusing on ‘me’
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scope, tactfully handle escalations, overcome customer objections and assist others with those same skills
  • High level of empathy - it’s important for both team member and customer interactions
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90-day plan and delve into your daily responsibilities
  • Begin 1:1’s with your direct reports and shadow a few calls/meetings for each to develop a picture of their current competencies
  • Serve as the primary customer escalation point for any issues, resource changes or other such matters during the implementation process
  • Set your MoATs with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet key partners in Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, Product, Engineering and the Executive team - they will be key relationships for you

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Achieve the Salesloft Administrator Certification, demonstrating your knowledge of our product
  • Understand the various metrics and respective targets for your team (e.g. billable utilization, customer satisfaction, project margin) and begin driving adherence
  • Maintain team morale and motivation, ensure a good work ethic and lead by example
  • Continue to focus on your MoATs

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Assist with the creation and execution of the Consulting Services Department initiatives
  • Participate in the interview, selection, hiring and on-boarding of new team members
  • Ensure your team consistently meets or exceeds its various targets (e.g. billable utilization, customer satisfaction, project margin)
  • Maintain consistent customer communication and escalation support as a Project Delivery Sponsor
  • Continue to focus on your initiatives

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Set an example for new Consulting Services team members and assist in training, onboarding and motivating new Lofters
  • Continue to focus on your OKRs

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
