As a vital member of Match Group’s Protect Overwatch Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), your primary objective will be to ensure the security and well-being of Match Group’s offices, employees, executives, and travelers. The core of your responsibilities will be working alongside a combination of staff and contract security in a 24/7 center utilizing physical security technologies such as access control, closed-circuit television (CCTV), alarm monitoring, mass notification systems, and data analysis tools. Our GSOC is the main location for the monitoring and analysis of risks on a global scale.

This position will require being onsite in our West Hollywood office. 
How you’ll make an impact:
  • Remote vetting of individuals requesting after-hours access to worldwide Match Group properties.
  • Coordinate the response of on-site security personnel utilizing surveillance tools equipped with intrusion detection to identify individuals in restricted areas.
  • Conduct initial investigations of physical, cyber, health and safety, and internal threats and escalating to local, state, or federal authorities in accordance with predefined procedures.
  • Proactively monitor developments of extreme or adverse atmospheric conditions such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, and other weather phenomena that can cause damage, disruption, or threats to life and property. 
  • In the event of an ongoing police or fire emergency in proximity to an asset, you will be expected to promptly collect real-time information and alert the relevant offices or travelers affected.
  • Maintain situational awareness during planned and unplanned civil demonstrations near assets, identifying signs of unruly behavior or clashes with external security forces using news sources and subscribed intelligence tools.
  • During all unplanned or emergency incidents, you will collaborate with regional and global security teams to ensure a unified and well-coordinated response.
  • Coordinate with Match Group’s internal investigative team by providing documentation as requested. 
  • Provide virtual surveillance of social media chatter, especially during company events and ad hoc requests.
  • Manage and prioritize employee inquiries through email, phone, and internal messaging platforms to ensure efficient support and resolution of requests.
  • We could be a match if:
  • You have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a physical Security Operations Center (SOC), a GSOC, security and/or law enforcement dispatch, or watch center handling multi-line telephone systems, and two-way radios while coordinating security and/or law enforcement personnel.
  • You have a minimum of 2+ years of experience monitoring cameras, access control systems, plus alarm monitoring of burglary and fire suppression systems.
  • You have a working knowledge of mass notification tools.
  • You possess strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • You can rapidly analyze large amounts of information while maintaining composure during high-stress circumstances.
  • You exercise sound judgment in alignment with established guidelines and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously.
  • You are available and prepared to work in a 24/7 operations center, rotating through all shifts, covering weekends, holidays, and graveyard hours as assigned.
  • What's the team like?
  • This is a newly created position, reporting to the Manager of the newly established GSOC based out of our Los Angeles office.
  • Our mandate is to protect the employees and travelers that we have in the US, Canada, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Belgium, and more. 
  • Success on this team requires the ability to adapt to changing goals, guidelines, and policies in a fast-paced startup environment. Oversee a heavy workload while providing exceptional customer service and keeping a cordial relationship with team members, managers, and employees across all divisions of Match Group.
