Your Role

As the Amazon Marketplace Manager you will own Auraโ€™s Amazon relationship, operations and execution to accelerate our rapid growth on the platform. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of directly owning a FBA relationship with Amazon including catalog management, promotions, operations, inventory and busines planning for a consumer goods business. This person is analytical, organized, entrepreneurial, proactive, an effective communicator, collaborative and consistently delivers exceptional results. 

What Excites You About An Opportunity:

  • Own Auraโ€™s relationship with Amazon and be the primary point of contact for Amazon SAS and MCF reps. 
  • Manage the operational aspects of the Amazon channel including forecasting and reporting, optimization, inventory planning, brand registry, reviews, performance metrics, CX, etc.
  • Deliver high quality on-time launches of new products on the Amazon channel
  • Conduct analysis to develop accurate forecasts, identify issue root causes, identify performance growth opportunities
  • Develop plans and schedule promotions for key sales periods including Prime Day
  • Lead FBA inventory planning and shipments working in collaboration with the Operations team and 3PLs
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock to support on-Amazon FBA sales and MCF sales for Auraframes.com
  • Monitor account health, performance, and resolve issues that may arise including order fulfillment and customer service
  • Ensure all Amazon activities are in sync with the priorities of the broader Aura team including Retail Sales, Marketing and CX
  • Work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional way with the broader Aura team

We're Excited About You Because:

  • 5+ years of experience managing the Amazon FBA channel
  • Knowledge of best practices for scaling and optimizing an Amazon business including forecasting and inventory management/planning 
  • Strong experience with Amazon Seller Central, in particular the backend operations, shipments, inventory and catalog management 
  • Strong analytical skills in Excel, Google Sheets and similar tools
  • Excellent business intuition and ability to understand / solve complex problems
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces โ€“ hard working, organized, proactive, and results oriented
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excitement for startups and building a company
