The IT Support Lead at Truss will join the InfraSec practice and help to define IT strategy across the organization to support continuous improvement and growth. This position will be responsible for managing all existing IT operations at Truss, establishing and maintaining relationships with third-party vendors, and defining and documenting priority IT initiatives. Additionally this position will be responsible for forecasting IT investments, maintaining/growing our services, and ensuring our users are productive as we continue to grow and scale our business.

Internally, the IT Support Lead will assist Trussels with IT related issues, concerns or inquiries remotely via Slack. This role will also partner with the Accounting and People Operations teams to ensure Trussels are adequately equipped to do their jobs and to answer any audit related questions. 

In client-related work, this position will work side-by-side with our Security SME to ensure the readiness of our corporate fleet, coordinate with our clients to establish secure connections, and implement client compliance standards as required.

This is a fully remote opportunity with occasional travel and reports to the Director of InfraSec.

The salary range for this position is $152,000 to $176,000.

The IT Support Lead will be responsible
for delivering successful outcomes in three key areas:
Make it easy for the average Trussel to do their job
  • All current IT processes are evaluated and documented
  • Plans for improvements and obsolescence of services are forecasted and delivered
  • Set metrics and benchmarks for time to resolution for common IT problems
  • Business systems solutions are reviewed and evaluated for SSO and SSO is implemented where supported Truss IT experiments, rollouts, and deprecations are well planned, documented, and communicated
  • All current IT processes are evaluated and documented Plans for improvements and obsolescence of services are forecasted and delivered Set metrics and benchmarks for time to resolution for common IT problems Business systems solutions are reviewed and evaluated for SSO and SSO is implemented where supported Truss IT experiments, rollouts, and deprecations are well planned, documented, and communicated
  • Defined solution and roadmap based on client research that allows us to easily integrate with government systems and balance the daily work needs of Trussels.
  • Truss’ business systems are well managed
  • Annual audits of all Third party services are performed
  • Vendor billing and relationships are managed centrally
  • Perform and document quarterly access and configuration audits 
  • THE SKILL SET
  • Prior experience as an enterprise IT manager within a fully distributed environment
  • Familiarity with Beyondcorp style IT management
  • Past experience with physical asset and software management 
  • Able to establish and maintain third party vendor relationships and conduct privacy policy evaluations
  • Understanding of IT Security best practices
  • Comfortable with high touch written communication
  • Proven track record creating clear processes, best practices, and documentation in a growing organization
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication with a bias towards empathy and problem solving
  • Ability to provide support to both technical and non-technical members of the team and take necessary steps to ensure questions are answered
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize

    You must be eligible to work in the U.S.
    Truss employees must live and work within the continental U.S. or one of its territories.
