As a Staff Backend Platforms Engineer you will help guide our growing team and be a leading voice in setting vision for our developing Platforms group. We are expanding beyond Site Reliability Engineering towards a Platform vision by empowering feature teams to own their own developer lifecycle with our support. We mainly work in Go and Bash, using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Circle CI and Istio.
You will help plan and carry out initiatives to improve developer experience and efficiency while coordinating with teams across the company to ensure that everyone is making the best use of available tooling.
What We're Looking For:
The salary range for this position is $213,000 - $255,500. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
