Be responsible for the productivity of the iOS mobile engineering team, creating processes and workflows that work best for the iOS mobile team and its projects and that also function within Mobile Engineering's broader standards and practices. Help develop iOS mobile engineers to grow both in their skill and as professionals. Represent the iOS mobile engineering team members in all forums. Utilize strong verbal and written communications skills to set clear goals for team members and for iOS mobile development projects and ensure these goals are met according to the standards and norms of the iOS mobile development community. Review, evaluate, and improve iOS mobile product specifications for quality and clarity. Use knowledge of iOS and mobile development to convert product specifications into clear, definable, and time-estimated tasks with the iOS mobile engineering team. Define milestones for projects based on iOS mobile engineer estimates and ensure delivery. Plan iOS mobile engineering projects and tasks with the team and follow through in a high-quality and timely manner. Document and organize the artifacts of iOS mobile product development, including technical documentation and engineering specifications. Resolve dependencies for team members and projects and ensure team members can meet both personal, team-wide, and iOS mobile engineering-wide goals and expectations. Contribute to the ongoing conversation on how the company can improve the mobile iOS product and internal processes. Act as a lead engineer of iOS engineering projects, working alongside Product Managers to create new features on the iOS mobile platform. Utilize strong verbal and written communications skills to represent projects and clearly convey detailed status updates and requirements for all stages of a project, especially as they relate to iOS mobile development process. Work with Product, Design, and Operations teams to plan, execute, monitor, and own features built on the iOS mobile product from inception to production. Communicate technical and analytical metrics of features for iOS engineering projects. Write high quality iOS code alongside the team for new features built on the iOS mobile platform. Contribute to the company’s iOS mobile codebases and work with other iOS and mobile engineering leads to meet code guidelines and standard practices. Review the code of other iOS engineers. Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $135,554 - $250,000 per year.
 
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field plus 5 years of professional experience in computer programming (including planning, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining computer systems or applications), using object-oriented programming or functional programming (including Objective-C, Swift, and C/C++) to write high quality codes (Reusable, scalable, aligning with industry best practices and architectural patterns,  and error-free) and performing system architecture design and data modeling.  Must have professional experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience building user facing software on the iOS platform; 5 years of professional experience working with Product, Design, and Operations teams to plan, execute, and monitor features from inception to production; 5 years of professional experience working with Restful API’s; 3 years of professional experience in a lead capacity working on iOS engineering projects.
