Position Summary:

Swiftly is a growing organization and is looking for a Developer Platform Manager (Mobile) to help us create a consistent Developer Experience using iOS, Android and Web. This role manages multiple teams and will help clarify the definition of our external facing libraries. 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading multiple teams to include Android, iOS and Web 
  • Drive consensus of 3rd party requirements using knowledge of Android, iOS and Web 
  • Define our API and tools that support features across our various feature domains: Ad Network, Loyalty Program, Retail and eCommerce 
  • Determine the best distribution strategy and client SDK; for instance, how to download and link the libraries etc. 
  • Ensure external reference and integration guides are documented and published. 
  • Coordinate inter-engineering interface standards
  • Create a culture of “one client team” to drive toward a common platform and code reuse
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Required Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Computer Science / Engineering or relevant work experience  
  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development 
  • Technical leadership experience as a people manager (2+ years) 
  • Managed multiple releases of 3rd party API/SDK's 
  • Strong breadth of knowledge of Android, iOS, Web platforms which means you have a good knowledge of the various clients and understand how code is developed natively in each environment 
  • Understanding of reference guide documentation/publishing process  
  • Up to date on platform specific coding standards 
  • Demonstrated ability to be analytical and have strong problem-solving skills  
  • Excellent communication, collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic with both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience delivering to the Retail industry 
  • Experience successfully managing multiple teams in small and larger organizations 
  • A good understanding of how to leverage Kotlin across a multi-platform environment
