Virtual onsite (5 sessions: take home follow up discussion, architecture and design white boarding, chat with a product manager, chat about teamwork, and another meeting with hiring manager ~ about 4 hours) 5. Team matching (non-evaluative)

Salary

$127,500 - $150,000.

The Team You’ll Work With

Brand Marketing is the guiding force for bringing Carta’s soul to the market. Carta is rapidly expanding from a business defined by a single product (Cap Table Management) to a platform of equity-driven solutions that deliver value for more people (products like Total Compensation, Venture Capital, and Liquidity). The team is driven by the opportunity to distinguish Carta across its categories, helping democratize equity ownership, and increasing access to financial education.

The Problems You’ll Solve

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join the Brand Marketing team as our first Creative Resources Manager. The responsibilities of the Creative Resources Manager involve solving complex problems, scoping marketing projects, creating project schedules, delegating tasks to members of the creative team, establishing regular project check-in cadence, and ensuring marketing projects are completed on time. You’ll work with graphic designers, copywriters, and multimedia creatives.

In order to be successful, you should have strong leadership skills, cross-functional partnership  experience, and be willing to say ‘no’. You will not only manage the project meticulously, but also proactively identify issues before they occur. You should also have a solutions-oriented mindset and be creative when leading the team out of difficult situations. Examples of problems to solve below:

  • Be the go-to-person across the company to allocate creative resources.
  • Ensure the team is not overworked and has adequate time to deliver against the assignments.
  • Provide all the context to the creative team so they can deliver best in-class materials.
  • Create and manage a deliverable calendar and scheduling deadlines.
  • Understand how to communicate with internal stakeholders to obtain the relevant inputs for the team to execute against.

About You

  • Ad agency background or internal creative team management experience.
    • Ideally have experience project managing integrated marketing campaigns utilizing web, video, organic social and paid social tactics.
  • Experience with project management theory and best practices.
  • Experience with project management software platforms such as Asana.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. If you are located in New York, New York OR San Francisco, California, our minimum cash compensation salary range for this role is $127,500 - $150,000. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
