We’re searching for a Staff Test Engineer - Embedded HIL Testing.
- Architect and develop highly-reliable embedded HIL test tools to validate embedded firmware.
- Define the test cases to satisfy the test requirements.
- Push the boundaries of performance by using and developing state-of-the-art tools and techniques to identify performance bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and debug information.
- Implement drivers, resource managers, and test cases that are highly efficient and highly reliable.
- Exercise technical leadership by cultivating eHIL knowledge within colleagues and guiding software implementations.
- BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of both high- and low-level communication protocols, from I2C and SPI to CAN and TCP/IP Protocols
- Excellent C or C++ programming, Python and software design skills; expertise in other languages welcome
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals to support low level debugging
- Experience with electronics test equipment, such as multimeters, logic analyzers, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
- Experience with software development practices for safety critical systems
- Experience in the autonomous driving industry
