Virtual onsite (5 sessions: take home follow up discussion, architecture and design white boarding, chat with a product manager, chat about teamwork, and another meeting with hiring manager ~ about 4 hours) 5. The Team You’ll Work With

We are a QA team that is responsible for testing all of Carta’s products. We are to expand and bring a lead into the team to manage an existing team of QA personnel across a number of products. We have impact on on every aspect of the business as Carta continues to emphasize and prioritize quality efforts for the company. You will be leading a medium sized team that works with multiple different Scrum Teams and help them drive quality and guide the the team member forward. You will get to work with talented engineers and product managers in addition to the other QA and Automation engineers. You’ll have an impact on quality and overall process improvement for the organization. As part of our highly collaborative culture, you'll be partnering closely with our multi national team out of New York, Seattle, Salt lake and Rio.

The Problems You’ll Solve

  • Building Automation Regression Suit with other QA Engineers
  • Support and automate front-end and back-end tests
  • Define and follow SDLC Processes for the embedded Scrum Teams
  • Work closely with other automation and manual QA engineers
  • Help the QA Organization grow
  • Learn and support the product from the Manual and Automation Perspective

About You

We are looking for an accomplished and knowledgeable automation QA Engineer with solid background and experience in creating and implementing new automation frameworks and contributing and up-leveling the existing ones. Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in python automation, pytest, Selenium WebDriver, Ui and Back-End tests. Understanding of Cloud Technology included but not limited to Kubernetes and Docker. Working knowledge of JenkinsX. The candidate should be a self-starter, great communicator and a leader who is always looking for ways to improve our existing processes, implement new processes and drive testing and quality efforts. Be able to communicate out your ideas and thoughts to all stakeholders and cross-functional teams and members. 

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. If you are located in New York, New York, our minimum cash compensation salary range for this role is $123,250 - $145,000 (if applicable, + commission). Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
