About the role:
Kong Core UI Engineering team is looking for a highly talented UI/Vue.js engineer to help create pixel-perfect, robust, responsive and accessible user interfaces for our applications. You will be responsible for taking our UI components to the next level. You will collaborate closely with other frontend engineers and the design team to deliver scalable components for the application and improve user experience. The ui components and experience you will help write is the foundation of every Kong Web application. An eye for detail and user experience is the key. We're looking for a hardworking and passionate person to join this amazing team, if you feel this is you, we'd love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
Great understanding of CSS, Vue (3), TypeScript and design principles.
Attention to detail for pixel perfection and UX.
Professional experience building UI component systems.
Collaborate with design and build scalable, responsive UI components in CSS and Vue.
Work with engineers to enable us to move to micro-frontend architecture.
What you’ll bring:
2+ years of professional experience of VueJS and TypeScript.4+ years of experience building SaaS Web applications and web developer tools using HTML, CSS, JS. Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and understanding of user and developer experience. Working understanding of micro-frontend architecture.
