What you'll do:
  • Design, implement and maintain services that power Kong.
  • Be responsible for solving straightforward technical problems.
  • Support those services in production by participating in an on-call rotation.
  • Write automated tests to ensure behavior of code and avoid regressions.
  • And any additional tasks required by manager.
    • What you'll bring:
  • 1+ years of experience in compiler technology or demonstrated compiler work done in the school project.
  • Proficiency in Go.
  • Experience with open-source compiler development (LLVM and/or GCC)
  • Experience designing, prototyping, building, and debugging microservices architectures and distributed systems.
  • Experience with development and support of an on-premise offering in production.
  • Understanding of and development with git and GitHub workflows.
  • Expertise in test-driven development and automated testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Bonus Points:
  • Skills in Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ plugin development 
  • Experience designing and building developer tools
  • Open source contributions of language toolchains
