THE OPPORTUNITY:

Technical Consultants work with Salesloft Consultants and customers to advise on and configure scalable solutions, focused on technical or business requirements. The primary focus in this role is configuration and governance related to the integration between Salesloft and the customer’s CRM. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for solutioning complex technical workflows for both new and existing customers. Specifically, you will:

  • Be a resource on billable projects serving as a technical expert throughout configuration, deployment, testing, and training on the Salesloft platform.
  • Act as a product subject matter expert for the Consulting Services team, staying up-to-date on Salesloft product releases, integrations, and CRM releases to provide ongoing support and training. 
  • Support our enablement team by running weekly technical webinars at scale for our customers.

THE TEAM:

Our Salesloft’s Technical Services team is composed of seasoned and up-and-coming Solutions Architects who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

  • Mission: Equip companies to maximize revenue by creating a fantastic buying experience

The Technical Services team consists of driven, results-oriented SaaS consulting professionals with a love for solutioning. The Solution Architects and Technical Consultants on our team share a few common traits: they are self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about learning and coming up with solutions for our customers to improve processes.

THE SKILL SET:

  • Previous experience in a consulting firm or SaaS/technology company 
  • 2+ years of experience in a technology consulting, customer success, or sales operations role. 
  • 2 + years of experience with Salesforce or Dynamics CRM
  • Exceptional levels of customer empathy, managing expectations to consistently deliver high customer satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Disciplined, flexible, and autonomous work habits; we don't micromanage
  • Able to manage multiple technical projects at any given time
  • Certified Salesforce, or Dynamics Administrator is a plus
  • Certified Salesloft Administrator is a plus

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90-day plan and delve into your daily responsibilities
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Understand the implementation methodology for our packaged onboarding offerings
  • Begin shadowing of calls/meetings with more tenured team members to see our methodology in action
  • Achieve the Salesloft Administrator Certification, demonstrating your knowledge of our product

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Begin acting as a resource for Consulting during their onboarding process for new customers, from start to finish
  • Develop and document solutions for customers complex workflows
  • Help customers achieve their business goals and outcomes by providing timely, proactive recommendations that will benefit customers’ ongoing usage of Salesloft.
  • Continue to focus on your OKRs

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Achieve the Salesforce or Dynamics Administrator Certification
  • Leverage customer feedback to help our Product and Engineering teams continually improve the product
  • Consistently meet or exceed your various targets (e.g. billable utilization, customer satisfaction, project margin)
  • Participate in the interview, selection, hiring and on-boarding of new team members
  • Execute and deliver Salesloft Configuration Audits and provide relevant technical recommendations on solutions and enhancements specific to customers’ business needs.
  • Advocate for customers during the triage and resolution of high severity cases, driving business reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely executive level summary status reports both internally and to the customer.
  • Present all available solutions to meet customer requirements, including but not limited to advanced Salesloft configuration, and advanced CRM automation. 

 WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Continue to provide excellent service to our customers and meet or exceed your various targets (e.g. billable utilization, customer satisfaction, project margin)
  • Continue to focus on your OKRs
  • Set an example for new hires and assist in training, onboarding and motivating new Lofters
