As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building new features and tooling for Insomnia, the incredibly powerful open source API client.  This position is available to remote workers and at Kong Headquarters in San Francisco.

What you'll do:
  • Work with product managers, engineers and product designers to create meaningful experiences.
  • Build new features and improve upon existing ones.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technical leaders to discover the best solutions.
  • Engage with the Insomnia open source community. 
  • Any additional tasks required by your manager.
  • What you'll bring:
  • Proficiency with Typescript, Javascript, React (or any other modern javascript frameworks).
  • Excellent UI implementation skills using technologies like HTML, CSS, and Typescript.
  • The ability to validate your work with qualitative or quantitative data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Electron Applications.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Experience with Golang, GCP, and Terraform.
