The Role

The Revenue Systems Developer will play a key role by ensuring revenue generating systems are aligned with company strategy and customer satisfaction. We’re looking for a creative problem solver who understands scalability and compliance, is comfortable in a fast paced startup environment and is results oriented. Familiarity with go-to-market, quote to cash and/or billing processes is a plus.
 
  • Manage and maintain ad-hoc changes to Pilot’s CPQ and Billing systems 
  • Analyze the impacts of new pricing and packaging changes to new and existing customer base
  • Work with product and revenue operations on defining how new offerings will work from a customer billing experience perspective 
  • Assist with Pilot’s sales enablement teams on show how packages and promos are used to build quotes and how orders are placed via the billing system
  • Work with Pilot’s controller and accounting team on how revenue is recognized via the billing system
  • Work with Pilot’s analytics team and strategic finance team on how business decisions are made based on billing system data
  • Support and help resolve issues related to Pilot’s billing system, with both internal stakeholders and customers

About You

  • 4+ years of experience, including some experience either as a technical product manager or software engineer
  • Sufficiently technical to write (and debug, as necessary) software configuration files
  • Experience working in a fast-growing environment
  • High level of autonomy and sound judgment
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute on tactical necessities — no task is too large or too small
  • Previous experience maintaining a Zuora CPA and Billing environment preferred

The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $114,000 - $186,000 in San Francisco, CA. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time or temporary positions.
