Articulate is looking for an Infosec Engineer to join our team. Infosec is responsible for technical operations, troubleshooting, and implementation of security solutions. From internal processes, to nuances of our applications, we take a holistic and high-impact approach to security and supporting Articulate's goal of delighting our customers.


As an Infosec Engineer you will identify and implement processes to keep Articulate products and infrastructure secure. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about information security, risk management, and privacy. You might be our person if you sweat the details, focus on high-impact, value quality results over effort, and see problems as opportunities to level-up our company. 

What you'll do

Conduct red team assessment against cloud environments and web applications to  identify and oversee resolution of vulnerabilities in software, systems, networks, and logic.

Develop and support our bug bounty program (i.e. HackerOne) and coordinating with affected teams to ensure timely resolution of reports.

Be part of an on-call rotation to analyze and resolve critical security issues and incidents.

Engage with engineering teams through all phases of the development lifecycle to identify threat models and provide ongoing feedback and support.

Contribute to building a healthy culture of shared security responsibility across engineering and the larger organization.

What you should have

You have a growth mindset and a deep passion for continuous learning. 

Experience driving complex security incidents to resolution.

Knowledge of open security testing standards and projects, including OWASP and the MITRE ATT&CK Matrix.

In-depth and up-to-date understanding of the threat landscape and the techniques to defend against them.

You are a strong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience is no problem for you.

You’re a doer. You’re in your element when writing code or building systems to deal with security concerns.

You’re proficient in one or more programming or scripting languages. We use Bash, Ruby, and JavaScript heavily at Articulate.
