The Team You’ll Work With
We are an Automation Framework team that is responsible for automation for all of Carta. Today we are a small but mighty team of 3 and looking to grow to 5 in the near future. We’re making an impact on every aspect of the business as Carta continues to emphasize and prioritize quality efforts for the company. In addition to your own team, you'll partner closely with our talented team of mobile (iOS and Android Engineers) as they continue to develop best in class mobile experiences for our users.
The Problems You’ll Solve
- Create a brand new Mobile Automation framework
- Support and automate Mobile engineering team effort
- Define better processes and acceptable quality for the mobile team
- Support the rest of the automation framework team for the other Carta releases
About You
We are looking for an accomplished and knowledgeable mobile automation engineer with solid background and experience in creating and implementing mobile automation infrastructure. The candidate should have significant experience in Android (Kotlin or Java) and iOS (Swift + iOS) along with unit testing experience. The candidate should be a self-starter, great communicator and a leader who is not afraid to jump into a problem area with both feet and make an immediate impact.
The Interview Process
First, one of our recruiters will call you to tell you more about the job and company. You'll then meet an Engineering Manager who will discuss your opportunities at Carta and explore your experience, skills, and goals. Next, we’ll send you a technical take-home exercise where you’ll implement a software solution to a small engineering problem. Finally, you'll have four or five back-to-back conversations with Carta team members on a wide range of topics, including communications and collaboration, coding efficacy and techniques, and systems design.
As part of our highly collaborative culture, you'll be partnering closely with our US based team. Our interview process will be conducted in English, please submit your application in English as well.
