We are looking for a Developer Advocate to join our growing Developer Relations team, led by Melissa Kaulfuss. In this role you'll have a huge influence on how software teams setup their testing and delivery pipelines and related tools, and play a key part in Buildkite’s growth in the wider developer community. You'll get to work with some of the best engineering teams in the world, experiment with testing and delivery tools, create working prototypes and integrations with other platforms, and create content that teaches developers how to setup great CI/CD in a wide variety of environments.

In this role you can expect to:
Spend time speaking with developers and understand what they need and create content that educates and excites them
Generate engaging product demos, sample solutions, technical blogs, live streams, tutorials and webinars to educate new and existing users
Prototype examples of technical integrations between Buildkite and tools in the wider ecosystem
Work with product and engineering to ensure products are launched with accompanying content that improves developer experience and understanding
Interact with and engage users on social media, Slack and other relevant forums
Speak at developer meetups and community and industry events (including our own UnblockConf)
This job is for you if you:
Have prior experience with DevOps, Buildkite, CI/CD, testing frameworks, config mgmt frameworks and coding languages/frameworks
Are an educator at heart who loves teaching and mentoring developers
Have a passion for developer tools and communities, and a curiosity to learn and try new things
Enjoy speaking in front of groups (small or large), in external meetings, at conferences, and meetups. Find fulfilment in helping other technical humans get better at their jobs, you love finding new ways to make developers' lives easier
