We are seeking a senior-level individual who will establish QA/QC as a formal practice within Bonusly and who will work cross-functionally with our Engineering teams to ensure that our product meets internal quality standards and exceeds customer expectations. You will positively impact some of the most influential companies in the world such as Hulu, Chobani, Headspace, Palo Alto Networks, and more by collaborating on a product that empowers employees to show appreciation for each other, build stronger working relationships, and feel a greater sense of belonging. 

We're looking for someone who is both highly analytical and enthusiastically creative. Ideally, you are a seasoned QA engineer who can empathize with users, take the lead on testing and acceptance processes, and make actionable recommendations on process and organizational improvements. Finally, you will use your experience in modern test frameworks and tooling to drive best practices across our engineering teams.
What you’ll do:
  • Join an inclusive, collaborative, and skilled product team that loves to deliver value for our customers.
  • Assume a leadership role in a sponsored effort to improve customer impact and software quality at Bonusly through process definition, organic growth, and the use of test plans and strategies
  • Develop new automated, semi-automated, and manual test suites to drive software quality improvements.
  • Work cross-functionally with our core engineering, technical operations, and customer success teams to drive functional and non-functional requirements and ensure we produce testable architectural and implementation patterns
  • Be a part of our high-growth journey and collaborate to create and iterate on our practices.
  • Have the support of your amazing, talented colleagues while working on small, high impact teams and enjoying the trust and autonomy needed to be biased toward action.

  • have 5+ years of professional QA experience including test automation frameworks, acceptance testing, and authoring and adhering to test plans
  • have 3+ years of professional experience with authoring test plans and developing test strategies to drive improvements in overall software quality 
  • have worked with a variety of best-in-class cloud providers and understand abstractions used to test cloud-based SaaS platforms
  • have expertise in test automation and manual testing, development and communication of test plans and test cases, and managing feedback loops created by the QA process.

  • Compensation:
  • Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
  • Equity: .04% - .10%
