Online identity is the foundation of how more and more businesses operate in a world where consumer behavior, privacy, and what constitutes an individual are constantly changing. We’re building the first universal and comprehensive identity infrastructure to help businesses of all sizes manage their customers, prevent fraud, and keep personal information protected.
About the role
We’re building both a product and a technology, but we always prioritize acting in a customer-centric way. Sometimes we have to execute perfectly because people are depending on us. Sometimes we sketchily build both option A and B when we want to see if one feels better than the other. Our teammates have geeked over design systems, argued over how to linearize a series of db transactions, and even *gasp* actually implemented algorithms we learned in school.
Your responsibilities
• Design foundational aspects of the identity platform
• Work directly with customers
• Handle scale from a first-time customer running a CSV data test to Super Bowl Sunday
• Launch — your work has no meaning until someone is using it, and it’s your call how you’re getting there with your stakeholders
• Land — ensure our learnings from past projects are brought along to future ones
What stands out to us
• 4+ years of work experience as a software engineer
• Proficiency in full-stack development
• Data modeling and schema design skills
• Completing large projects and being able to talk about what went well or poorly
