Excited about using the latest web technologies?
Enjoy flat hierarchy and having an active say in how the company works?
Looking to work in an international team?

Look at you sounding like a Reaktorian already 😎

Our Lisbon office is looking for a Software Engineer to solve juicy digital challenges at scale, share expertise with team-mates and clients alike, and work closely with Reaktor communities in Amsterdam, Helsinki, NYC and Tokyo.

As a Software Engineer you:

  • Have 4+ years of professional web development experience
  • Write software from scratch with TypeScript and React
  • Can work with the team to decide the best tools for the job at hand. Sometimes it’s Clojure running in a Kubernetes cluster, and sometimes it’s a small piece of JS running on AWS Lambda.
  • Are familiar with automated testing & functional programming
  • Enjoy working with juniors and seniors on the shiny and dirty bits of the codebase. No ivory tower architects here.
  • Take care of both the technical and human side of projects. You can reason your idea to the client and navigate challenging situations if needed.

Ideally you…

  • Are willing to take an active part in shaping the new Lisbon community of the strongest developers
  • Look forward to taking an active part in shaping your team’s ways of working and programming practices
  • View your colleagues and clients as individuals with their respective strengths and weaknesses. Having a consulting background is a plus.
